Stores are set to open at Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Toronto and Park Royal Shopping Centre in West Vancouver in fall 2021.
Athleta's online shop is expected to launch in the late summer this year and products will be sent out by the Gap Distribution Centre in Brampton, Ontario, which will eliminate international taxes and long shipping times.
Despite these new openings, Gap is among the many retailers that closed stores in Canada in 2021 and 2020.
