MANILA, Philippines — An estimated P500,000 worth of shabu was confiscated from seven suspects during a sting in Taguig City before dawn yesterday.
Anti-narcotics operatives arrested Camilla Tabawan, 32; Dennis Bonifacio, 25; Litlie Laguialam, 23; Naora Saadudin, 28; Theresa Reciproco, 41, and two others aged 18.
Southern Police District director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg said the suspects were nabbed during a drug sting in Barangay Maharlika at around 2:45 a.m.
Police said they recovered from the suspects at least 76.5 grams of shabu and a digital weighing scale.
The suspects are being held on charges of drug trafficking.
In Caloocan, police seized P200,000 worth of drugs from four suspects. – Ghio Ong
